Marvel Cosmic Invasion is getting a new DLC named The Siege of Castle Doom. Starting on November 10, 2026, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 gamers will be able to access the DLC. To tease the upcoming content, publisher Dotemu and developer Tribute Games have revealed its new roguelike mode in a trailer. As the trailer has shown, the DLC will add two new characters: Doctor Doom and the Invisible Woman.

The new mode takes players into Doctor Doom's castle, where they have to fight waves of enemies to progress through the levels and reach Doom before the Siege Gauge fills up. While progressing, players will be able to collect Battery Cells, earn upgrades, and improve their attack, defense, and special skills. They will also face traps, Doom Bots, and bosses from the main game. If the gauge fills before players reach Doom, their run ends.

While describing the DLC, the developers have revealed, “Thankfully, successful runs will help permanently unlock new equipment and events from Reed’s Lab, as well as modifiers that can deepen the challenge and potential rewards available in future attempts.”

Players will need to choose their upgrades with care. A useful power-up can help them survive a tough fight, while a poor choice may make the next encounter harder. This keeps each run fresh and asks players to change their plans as they go.

New Gear and Rewards Could Keep Players Coming Back

Players of ten love games that place the hardest challenges in front of them. These hurdles reward them with some of the most precious in-game items that help them survive. In Marvel Cosmic Invasion as well, players who overcome the hardships will be able to unlock new gear, events, and harder settings through Reed Richards’ lab. These upgrades can change how later runs play out. New color options for the heroes are also available as rewards for defeating Doctor Doom.

These features could give fans a reason to play the mode more than once. New paths and events can make each run feel different, while harder settings offer a greater test for skilled players. The gear and color options add more goals to chase. Its mix of changing fights, new rewards, and added characters could help keep the game fun long after the first run.
