Lenovo has launched its first pair of AI smart glasses in China, called the Visual AI Glasses V1. This model is equipped with two bright microLED displays that show green visuals on both lenses. These displays can work together or one at a time, depending on the user’s needs.
The AI glasses are designed for easy and comfortable daily wear. The device weighs in at just 38 grams and has ultra-thin lenses with only 1.8 mm of thickness. The maximum brightness of the display is 2,000 nits, which signifies that the images will be visible even in bright sunlight. Lenovo says the design puts less pressure on the nose and ears, making them easy to wear for long hours.
Instead of adding a camera like Meta or Ray-Ban’s smart glasses, Lenovo has focused on privacy and easy use. The glasses come with the company’s Tianxi AI voice assistant, which can handle voice commands, real-time translation, and navigation. Translated text and voice appear right on the lens, so users can see and understand in two languages without looking at a phone.
Another smart feature is the teleprompter mode, which helps while reading scripts or giving presentations. Users can control the slides using Lenovo’s smart ring or touch panels. The glasses also include dual microphones and stereo speakers for hands-free calls and audio.

The battery performance depends on how extensively the glasses are used. Lenovo states that V1 can give up to 10 hours in translation mode and about 4 hours in teleprompter mode. The device also supports fast charging, completing a full charge in around 40 minutes. The device connects to Android phones through Bluetooth 5.4.
Lenovo Visual AI Glasses V1 are priced at CNY 3,999 (around Rs. 49,000). The model is available for pre-orders in China, but Lenovo has not shared any global launch details yet.
With a light build, bright display, and smart voice features, these Lenovo AI glasses bring a fresh look to smart wearables. The device aims to make real-time help, translation, and navigation simple for daily use, all without needing a phone screen.
