Apple has not confirmed the iPhone Ultra or its launch date yet. Reports suggest Apple asked suppliers to prepare around 10 million units for 2026. Supply issues could push pre-orders toward the fourth quarter, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
Kuo expects strong demand for Apple’s foldable phone after its launch. He said the iPhone Ultra ‘could sell out immediately after pre-orders open.’ Delivery delays could follow if demand becomes stronger than supply.
The expected launch could also change the foldable phone market. Samsung, Huawei, Motorola, and other Chinese brands already compete in this segment. Apple could bring more attention to larger foldable screens and premium designs.
