During video calls, Center Stage keeps the user centered in the screen. Moving slightly does not affect framing. This feature works well for video calls, FaceTime, or Zoom, making conversations look professional and clear.
Open the Camera app from the home screen, lock screen, or Control Center. Switch to the front camera by tapping the camera icon. Make sure the Center Stage icon, which looks like a person in a square, is active. Tap the orientation button to switch between portrait and landscape modes. There is no need to rotate the phone.
Camera app lets users control framing manually. Zoom in or out using the zoom button. Turn off auto-rotate or auto-zoom to manually control orientation and framing. This provides more flexibility for taking selfies, videos, or group photos.
For group photographs, maintain a distance of approximately 10 feet around the camera for all participants. Best automatic framing is achieved when all faces are clear.
