Infinix launched the Hot 70 Pro 5G in India at a starting price of Rs. 24,999. Users can get the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant in the under Rs. 25,000 segment. However, those looking for more RAM and wanting to choose 8GB RAM and 128GB storage have to pay Rs. 27,999.

At an affordable price point, Infinix offers a 6.76-inch Full HD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chip. Additionally, the smartphone has a 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. It runs Android 16 with XOS 16 and has IP68 water and dust protection.

The phone's Active Matrix Cube is another feature that sets it apart. The small display on the back can show call and message alerts, charging status, low battery warnings, and camera activity. For photos, there is a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera and an 8MP front camera.

The best part is that the model is currently available on Flipkart and in retail stores, with color variants such as Silk Glow Purple, Dive Blue, Thermo Orange, and Mirage Green. For buyers, there will be an instant Rs. 2,000 discount (terms and conditions apply), bringing the price down to around Rs. 22,000 for the standard version.

Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G vs Rivals

Infinix Hot 70 Pro’s display is one of its biggest selling points for sure. It will allow scrolling and supported games to feel smooth. However, the competition is tough in this price range.

For example, at a similar price range, the Redmi Note 17 5G comes with a 120Hz AMOLED display and an 8,000mAh battery. The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion also has a 144Hz AMOLED display and a larger 7,000mAh battery. Motorola uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, which is more powerful than the Dimensity 7100 5G.

Thus, features won’t bring it the crown, but the final appeal will depend on real-world performance and how it compares with AMOLED rivals.
