Allegations of workplace harassment at Infosys’ Pune facility have resurfaced on social media. This comes days after a major controversy was raised at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Nashik. A viral post on X claimed that women employees of TCS’s Business Process Management (BPM) unit faced harassment. Until now, there have been no confirmations, but an official police complaint is associated with the Pune case.
In light of the incident, Infosys stated that it follows a strict zero-tolerance policy towards harassment and discrimination. The tech giant also highlighted its internal complaint redressal system. The company explained that an independent committee will review all reported cases. It also urged employees to use official channels to report grievances.
The firm added, “We remain committed to maintaining a safe and inclusive workplace. We also take all concerns seriously.” However, it did not comment on specific allegations. The timing has amplified the issue. The Infosys episode comes amid an ongoing investigation into serious allegations at TCS’s Nashik office. The case involves claims of sexual harassment and coercion.
