A new report suggests that Rockstar Games could finally reveal GTA 6 gameplay in August. Rumors about the third official GTA 6 trailer have been circulating for a while, and players expect Rockstar Games to bring new content before the November 19 launch. The studio revealed some screenshots of the game while announcing the pre-order last month, but again, it’s complete silence.

Though there’s no official information, a tipster, NateTheHate, has shared some details. On his X (formerly Twitter), the insider has mentioned, “Too soon to share anything Rockstar related; but maybe I'll share something when it gets more near.”

Again, he added to someone’s query about the game’s next trailer, “I expect to see a fair bit of GTA6 next month.”

What excites players more is the accuracy level of his tips. A lot of his previous tips have come true in the last few years. Thus, players put their hopes on his information. Rockstar has not confirmed the report yet, but the leak suggests that the studio has been readying the third trailer or gameplay reveal for GTA 6 for next month.

Rockstar Likes to Build Hype Slowly

Rockstar has used this style before; both GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 followed a similar marketing plan. The company released a few trailers, stayed quiet for months, and then shared gameplay closer to launch.

This approach keeps people talking without showing too much too early. Every trailer becomes a major event, and fans spend weeks discussing every detail. Instead of giving regular updates, Rockstar lets curiosity build on its own. This strategy has worked well for its biggest games, and GTA 6 seems to be following the same path.

All Eyes are on Rockstar's Next Move

For now, the August gameplay event is still only a rumor. Until Rockstar makes an official announcement, fans should take the report with caution.

Still, as the expected November launch is getting closer, many believe the next big reveal cannot be far away. If the gameplay showcase happens, it could be the biggest GTA 6 update since the last trailer and begin the final countdown to release.
