Google is preparing to start the pre-order for the latest Googlebook laptops on September 21. The tech giant began informing users about the pre-order and official launch for those who have registered their interest. The new laptop range is different from Chromebooks. It puts Gemini at the center of the experience, with features like Magic Pointer, Create My Widget, Cast My Apps, and Quick Access. Additionally, it offers a new way to use ChromeOS.

The most interesting part is that Google won’t produce the laptop itself; instead, chosen partners will make and launch the newest laptop range. So, Googlebook will arrive through Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, and Lenovo. Each brand is expected to introduce multiple models with different screen sizes, processors, and premium designs. Google is yet to reveal the full pricing, shipping details, and market-wise availability.

The launch of Googlebook doesn’t mean the end of the Chromebook era. These two laptop sections will coexist, with Googlebook catering to audiences who are looking for a more powerful AI-powered computing experience.

The Android link is a key part of the plan. Users can connect their phones with their laptops and access apps and files more easily. This makes Googlebook feel less like a separate device and more like part of the Android experience.

Googlebook will Take Google to Premium Segment

Google built its laptop business around affordable Chromebooks for years. Googlebook marks a clear shift. It gives the company a chance to compete in a higher-priced laptop market while making Gemini a bigger part of everyday computing.

The bigger question is whether people will find these AI tools useful enough to change how they work. If Gemini becomes a regular part of everyday tasks, Googlebook could give Google a stronger position in the next phase of laptops.
