Eternal, the parent company of Zomato, Blinkit, Hyperpure and District, reported results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. Eternal witnessed a loss of Rs. 17.07 crore, or 0.98%, on its total revenue of Rs. 37.18 crore. The consolidated net profit fell 47.1% sequentially and stood at Rs. 92 crore as compared to Rs. 174 crore in the same quarter last year, when the profit had risen by 268%.
The company said the decline in profit was driven by continued investments in the growth of its business, especially Blinkit.
Revenue from operations rose to Rs. 20,211 crore for the quarter, from Rs. 7,167 crore in the same period last year. Eternal attributed the rise mainly to the change in the company's business model to a first-party (1P) operating model, where it recognizes the full value of the goods sold as revenue.
The business portfolio has registered improved operating leverage with consolidated adjusted revenue growing 173% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs. 20,648 crore and adjusted EBITDA more than doubling to Rs. 555 crore.
The consolidated net order value (NOV) in the business-to-consumer (B2C) segment grew 54% YoY to Rs. 31,120 crore, driven by robust consumer demand in the food delivery, quick commerce and the going-out business.

The company's Net Order Value grew by 86% YoY to Rs. 17,132 crore, and the quick commerce platform made an adjusted EBITDA profit of Rs. 102 crore. It was also the fifth straight quarter of margin enhancement for the company
Blinkit continued to make investments in assortment expansion, geographic coverage and demand densification during the quarter, increasing the number of stores to 2,443, up by 200 net new stores.
Commenting on the performance, Deepinder Goyal, Founder, Eternal, said, "If we're doing our job well, growth and margins should compound together - because growth in this business comes from making the platform more useful to more people, which drives frequency, which drives density, which drives efficiency. The flywheel doesn't ask you to choose."
The steady growth continued in Eternal's food delivery venture, too, with its NOV crossing Rs. 10,769 crore with over 20% YoY growth. The segment reported adjusted EBITDA profit of Rs. 606 crore, and the margin has improved to 5.6%.
The company's going-out platform, District, earned 60% YoY revenue growth to Rs. 3,218 crore, while Hyperpure posted revenue of Rs. 1,034 crore, up 27% YoY on a like-for-like basis.
The company has also entered into a Business Transfer Agreement with its wholly owned subsidiary Carthero Technologies Private Limited to transfer the business under the brand name ‘Nugget by Zomato’ for an internal restructuring of the Company to streamline its operations, the Company said.
