Nikhil Kamath, Co-Founder of Zerodha, has released the much-anticipated episode from his ‘WTF’ Podcast, featuring a candid and wide-ranging conversation with Tesla and SpaceX Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk.

Now streaming on Kamath’s YouTube channel, the episode covers technology, entrepreneurship, innovation, and personal philosophies, affording viewers an unvarnished look at Musk’s worldview.

Musk on Being a Parent: “You Won’t Regret It”

One of the most talked-about moments of the episode surfaced when Kamath shared that he doesn’t have children. Musk, a father of 12 himself, immediately urged him to reconsider his stance: “Well, maybe you should.”

Kamath added, “A lot of people tell me I should,” which Musk elaborated on, given the meaning of parenthood.

“You’ve got this little creature that loves you, and you love this little creature,” Musk said. “You see the world through their eyes as their awareness grows, from a baby that cannot survive alone to someone who walks, talks, and has interesting thoughts. I think we fundamentally have to have kids or go extinct.

The exchange proved a rare window into Musk’s thinking, as he counterbalanced his larger concerns about declining birth rates with the emotional fulfillment he associates with raising children.

A Light Moment: Kamath Compliments Musk’s Physique

Still, the episode showed a funny example during the serious discussion. That was when Kamath, meeting Musk face to face for the first time, expressed his astonishment, saying, “You are much larger, heavier, stronger than I would have imagined.”

Musk laughed and joked, “Oh, stop, you’re making me blush,” drawing laughter from Kamath and momentarily switching the mood from analytical to casual. The video clip has since been shared across all social media platforms, adding to the episode's overall buzz.

WTF Podcast Mission: A Space for Deep, Contrarian Conversations

The latest episode reinforces the larger vision behind Kamath’s ‘WTF’ podcast-a platform to inspire knowledge-sharing and challenge conventional thinking.

The podcast, according to its website, tries to “create a knowledge ecosystem and help entrepreneurs scale up in any industry from zero to one.” Kamath says his goal is to build a community rooted in curiosity and rigorous debate.

“I have always envisioned a community united in discussing complex topics through in-depth, fact-based analysis,” he explained. “The WTF platform aspires to be an open area for sharing various ideas and opinions, especially contrarian ones, so we bring clarity to the things that matter.”

A Discussion Driven by Curiosity and Debate

As this discussion continues to spread online, one question remains for viewers and followers alike: What insights from Musk’s candid conversation will form the next wave of debate centered on technology, entrepreneurship, and human purpose?
