Apple has started letting all developers connect their apps to Siri AI. The company opened access on Tuesday, November 3, with the first developer beta of iOS 27.3 and other 27.3 software updates. Developers can use Apple's App Intents framework to bring their app content and actions into the assistant.
Apple first talked about the plan at WWDC26 in June. Earlier, beta testers had spotted limited access in iOS 27 beta 3, including the ability to check EV battery levels through the Tessie app. This preview expands access to developers of all apps.

Apple said the preview allows any app to bring its content and actions directly into Siri. This lets apps use Siri AI's newer skills, including personal context understanding, onscreen awareness, and natural language. Users can check delivery status, book a reservation, or place an order without opening the app.
Developers can also configure Siri to combine several actions so it can handle more complex requests. Apps that use the new tools are expected to start reaching customers in 2027. Apple says iOS 27.3 will reach the public in December.

The iOS 27.3 beta also includes several other updates. watchOS 27.3 adds two AI audio features for the latest Apple Watch models. Live Rewind shows a text transcript of the previous 15 seconds of audio, and Siri Recap creates a summary of a conversation with a title and key points. These tools work only on the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4.
The redesigned Health app also returns to iPhone, with an Insights tab and a Longevity section that includes a Health Age estimate. In China, the update brings Apple Intelligence tools such as Writing Tools, Genmoji and Visual Intelligence, though not Siri AI. A public beta is expected to follow the developer release, allowing other iPhone users to test the features.
