Apple is changing how it sells digital services in India. From September 15, 2026, the tech giant will expand iCloud+ by adding Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost. This brings iCloud+ from a cloud-storage service into a broader entertainment and storage package.

The revised offering starts at Rs. 75 per month for 50GB of iCloud+ storage. Users can also share their subscription with up to five family members through Family Sharing.

Apple TV and Arcade Move Into iCloud+

Now, iCloud+ subscribers can access Apple TV’s original shows and films along with Apple Arcade’s catalogue of games without paying separate subscription charges.

Apple is also ending standalone Apple TV and Apple Arcade subscriptions in India under the revised model. Existing subscribers will move to the new iCloud+ arrangement without losing access. Apple says Arcade users will retain their game progress.

Thus, allowing customers a simpler way to access multiple Apple services through one subscription. It also creates a stronger reason for existing Apple users to upgrade their cloud-storage plans.

Apple Music Gets a New Option

Apple is also adding Apple Music Select for iCloud+ users. This provides access to personalised and ad-free music stations. You can also continue to choose full Apple Music subscriptions separately.

The broader rollout extends beyond India, with Apple planning to make the expanded iCloud+ offering available across more than 100 countries and regions by the end of September.
