Lead the architecture and development of GPU software components that meet industry standards.
Promote innovation in GPU Computing and enhance performance/scalability of open source AI/ML software
Lead/mentor others technically on all aspects of GPU Technology & High Performance Computing.
Work with cross functional teams from hardware, software, and architecture areas
Conduct research to improve efficiency of GPU performance through performance analysis.
Document and maintain AMD's technical databases such as drivers, APIs, and Technical Documentation.
15+ years of experience in Computer Engineering or Software Development
Strong C++ & Python skills
Familiarity with common AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow/JAX) and tuning GPU Performance.
Experience programming GPU kernels (CUDA, HIP, OpenCL)
Knowledge of parallel computing frameworks such as MPI/NCCL/RCCL
Experience working in an open source collaborative environment as well as working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Proven analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
BE/B.Tech, M.Tech, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
