Written By : Harpreet Singh Kapula

Today's vocabulary marathon features four puzzles demanding simultaneous solutions! Quordle challenges players to uncover four five-letter words using just nine thoughtful guesses. The game's intuitive feedback system—green for perfect matches, yellow for right letters in wrong positions, and gray for letters not in the solution—guides your strategy toward victory.

Game Origins

Inspired by Wordle's phenomenal success, David Mah envisioned a more demanding word puzzle experience. With Freddie Meyer's development expertise, Quordle was born—quadrupling the challenge with four simultaneous puzzles. Now hosted by dictionary experts Merriam-Webster, the game continues to test and delight language lovers worldwide.

What are Today's hints?

Letter Hints

Players only need to guess 4 letters to guess the correct word. Guessing the first and last letter is a good strategic start to solving Quordle.

Hint 1 (First Letter of the Word):

  • The first word starts with C (top-left).

  • The second word starts with D (top-right).

  • The third word starts with C (bottom-left).

  • The fourth word starts with T (bottom-right)

Hint 2 (Last Letter of the Word)

  • The first word ends with E (top-left).

  • The second word ends with K (top-right)

  • The third word ends with E (bottom-left).

  • The fourth word ends with R (bottom-right).

Vowel Hints

Predicting words with vowels are the best hints in Quordle. They frequently appear in English words in a common pattern, such as CVC, consonant-vowel-consonant. For example, try "ODDLY" and "AGREE" from the previous day's Quordle game. Select “Past Games” from the "Daily Classic" drop-down menu, then select the March 29 game.

Today's vowel Hints:

  • 2 vowels are in the first word (top-left).

  • 1 vowel is in the second word (top-right).

  • 2 vowels are in the third word (bottom-left).

  • 2 vowels are in the fourth word (bottom-right).

Elimination Strategy

Repeating letters is best suited for an elimination strategy. When a letter appears twice, half of the word can be guessed with little difficulty. Employ this strategy to cut down chances for attempts with our skillful hints below. From the 27 March 2025 game:

  1. Letter “E” helps with guessing the first word, second and the fourth word.

  2. Letter “O” helps with guessing the first and the fourth word.

  3. Letter “A” helps with guessing the second and the fourth word.

Today's elimination Hints:

  • No repeating letter in the first word.

  • No repeating letter in the second word.

  • No repeating letter in the third word.

  • 1 consonant is repeated twice in the fourth word.

Meaning Strategy

Meaning indicates what a word could be. It's one strategy where instead of guessing letters. An entire game can be guessed with these funny meanings:

  • First word (top-left): When “oops” turns into “uh-oh.”

  • Second word (top-right): Liquid courage or regret in a glass.

  • Third word (bottom-left): A tiny spice with a mighty punch.

  • Fourth word (bottom-right): More true than true—like extra truthy.

Spoiler Alert

Solutions are up front. But before that, try to guess a word taken from the hint of the game played on 28 March 2025 - A leaf that thinks it’s fancy! For those who want just the end words and do not feel like going through another journey, today's solution lies ahead.

  • CRIME

  • DRINK

Whether you can solve today's Quordle in five attempts or use all nine, each puzzle offers a satisfying mental workout for word game enthusiasts.
