Calling all word detectives! Today's Quordle presents four mysterious five-letter words hidden within the grid. Your mission: decipher all four puzzles using no more than nine attempts. Each guess provides critical clues through color-coding—green for exact matches, yellow for letters that belong elsewhere, and gray for incorrect letters.
Quordle represents the natural evolution of word puzzles, conceived by David Mah as an extension of Wordle's singular challenge. Freddie Meyer's programming expertise transformed this concept into the multi-puzzle format players know today. Now part of language authority Merriam-Webster's offerings, Quordle continues to challenge word enthusiasts daily.
Players only need to guess 4 letters to guess the correct word. Guessing the first and last letter is a good strategic start to solving Quordle.
The first word starts with L (top-left).
The second word starts with O (top-right).
The third word starts with C (bottom-left).
The fourth word starts with A (bottom-right)
The first word ends with R (top-left).
The second word ends with Y (top-right)
The third word ends with N (bottom-left).
The fourth word ends with E (bottom-right).
Predicting words with vowels are the best hints in Quordle. They frequently appear in English words in a common pattern, such as CVC, consonant-vowel-consonant. For example, try "PROVE" and "FROND" from the previous day's Quordle game. Select “Past Games” from the "Daily Classic" drop-down menu, then select the March 28 game.
2 vowels are in the first word (top-left).
1 vowel is in the second word (top-right).
2 vowels are in the third word (bottom-left).
3 vowels are in the fourth word (bottom-right).
Repeating letters is best suited for an elimination strategy. When a letter appears twice, half of the word can be guessed with little difficulty. Employ this strategy to cut down chances for attempts with our skillful hints below. From the 26 March 2025 game:
1. Letter “E” helps with guessing the first word, second and the third word.
2. Letter “O” helps with guessing the second and the third word.
3. Letter “I” helps with guessing the third and the fourth word.
No repeating letter in the first word.
1 consonant is repeated twice in the second word.
No repeating letter in the third word.
1 vowel is repeated twice in the fourth word.
Meaning indicates what a word could be. It's one strategy where instead of guessing letters. An entire game can be guessed with these funny meanings:
First word (top-left): The official deadline for procrastinators.
Second word (top-right): How things feel when they don’t quite fit.
Third word (bottom-left): The spice that makes food smell way better than it looks.
Fourth word (bottom-right): The easy way out of an argument.
Solutions are up front. But before that, try to guess a word taken from the hint of the game played on 27 March 2025 - A grandma with an attitude! For those who want just the end words and do not feel like going through another journey, today's solution lies ahead.
