Grayscale’s ETH ETFs (ETHE and ETH) become the first exchange-traded funds to allow staking in the US, a game-changer. Meanwhile, whales have been flocking to this XRP coin alternative: Digitap ($TAP). Considered the future of payments and finance as the world’s first omni-bank with instant, near-zero transfer fees, it has been hailed as the best new crypto to buy now.
In a groundbreaking move, Grayscale announced that investors can now earn passive rewards via its ETH ETF products. These include the Grayscale Trust ETF (ETHE) and the Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust ETF (ETH).
Following this announcement, Grayscale becomes the first asset manager to enable staking in the United States, offering passive gains via ETH ETFs while maintaining exposure to Ethereum. At the time of writing, ETH is in an uptrend.
The Ethereum price gained 12% on its weekly chart, pushing it past $4,710, which can be linked to Grayscale’s latest move on ETH ETFs. Heading toward a breakout above the August all-time high of $4,953, the Layer-1 coin entering price discovery could ignite a full-blown altseason.
The XRP coin, currently the third largest cryptocurrency by market size, has a $179 billion market size, according to CoinMarketCap. While it hovers around $3, compared to Ethereum at $4,710, it shouldn’t be seen as a cheaper alternative. Rather, its significant market cap means its upside potential is limited.
Given the above, the XRP coin isn’t the best cryptocurrency to invest in today. With limited growth prospects, new and low-cap coins like Digitap have emerged as more promising alternatives, sparking a shift in interest.
Nevertheless, the payment-based altcoin is in an uptrend. According to CoinMarketCap, the XRP coin price has increased by 3% over the past seven days to $2.9. Cypress Demanincor, while predicting a rally toward $5.17 this year, believes a downturn toward $2.42 isn’t off the table.
Digitap ($TAP) is an undervalued gem at the intersection between DeFi and TradFi on the radars of whales and industry experts. Its innovative solution in the cross-border payments market has been a key force behind growing demand, notably its near-zero transfer fees, no-KYC setup and multi-chain wallet option.
Designed to make money borderless, it offers users the freedom to manage and move funds across currencies, blockchains and countries. At the same time, its dedication to privacy is striking—privacy-first onboarding with a secure, anonymous multi-chain wallet option.
Further, its near-instant global transfers and settlements are unmatched, at a fraction of the cost (sub-1%). Meanwhile, as the world’s first omni-bank, it has one balance for all assets, meaning users don’t have to juggle multiple wallets, apps and accounts to manage their crypto and cash. Considering its revolution of PayFi and imminent adoption, experts project a 50x gain this year, making it the best crypto to buy now.

Digitap, a new ERC-20 coin in the first presale round, is available today for $0.0125—a cheaper and more promising alternative to the XRP coin. Despite the latest news about ETH ETFs, whales seeking higher ROIs have been betting on this low-cap coin. It is for a 27% jump to $0.0159 by the next round, making now a good time to stack up.
