AI Content Policy

Analytics Insight is a human-led newsroom. Every article, report, and review published on this platform is written, edited, and fact-checked by a person who can stand behind it. This page explains our policy on AI generated content, why we enforce it, and what readers and contributors can expect from us.

Our Position on AI Generated Content

We do not publish content that is generated wholesale by AI tools and passed off as original journalism or analysis. Readers come to Analytics Insight for judgment, context, and accountability that only a human writer can provide.

A model can summarize information, but it cannot verify a source, weigh conflicting claims, or take responsibility for getting a story wrong. That responsibility sits with our editorial team, and we are not willing to outsource it.

This applies to every category we cover, including AI and big data news, blockchain and cryptocurrency coverage, product reviews, company profiles, and contributed articles from outside experts.

Where AI Tools Are Allowed

We are not opposed to AI as a tool. Our journalists use AI software for tasks like transcription, translation, and early-stage research, the same way a reporter might use a search engine or a transcription service.

What we do not allow is using AI to draft, structure, or substantially write a published piece. The distinction is simple: AI can support the research behind a story. It cannot be the author of the story.

Any contributor who uses AI assistance during research or editing must disclose it during submission. Work that is identified as substantially AI generated, whether disclosed or not, is rejected before it reaches publication.

How We Check for AI Generated Content

Every submission, whether from staff or outside contributors, goes through a layered review process before it is published.

Editorial Review

A senior editor reads every piece for originality, factual accuracy, and editorial voice. Writing that reads as generic, repetitive, or detached from verifiable sources is flagged for further review.

AI Detection Screening

We run submissions through AI content detection tools to identify text that shows strong statistical patterns of machine generation. A flagged score does not result in an automatic rejection, but it does trigger a closer manual review.

Source Verification

Every claim, statistic, or quote in a published piece needs a verifiable source. Content that cannot be traced back to a real, checkable source is not published, regardless of how it was produced.

Contributor Accountability

Guest writers and freelance contributors agree to our content authenticity terms before submission. Repeated submission of AI generated work results in removal from our contributor network.

What Happens When AI Generated Content Is Found

If a piece is found to be substantially AI generated, whether before or after publication, we take the following steps.

Before Publication

The piece is rejected and sent back to the author with an explanation. Repeated submissions result in the contributor being removed from future assignments.

After Publication

If AI generated content is identified retroactively, we remove or rewrite the piece, correct the byline if necessary, and note the correction in line with our editorial policy.

Why This Policy Matters

Search engines and readers are both getting better at identifying low-effort, AI generated content, and both are rewarding original, well-sourced reporting over generic text.

More importantly, our readers are C-suite executives, investors, and technology leaders who make real decisions based on what we publish. Generic or fabricated information has a direct cost to them.

Holding the line on human-written, verified content is not just an editorial preference. It is how we protect the trust our readers place in us.
