Black Friday is fast approaching and consumers are eagerly awaiting hot deals on all manner of products, ranging from electronics devices and clothes to make up and home appliances.
But while consumers will have to wait until November 24 to get their hands on the best deals and promotions, video games players have a much more imminent opportunity to obtain some exclusive discounts and benefits from some of the hottest Web3 games.
Web3 games are an emerging niche in the video games industry. They take advantage of decentralized technologies such as blockchain, cryptocurrencies and NFTs to provide awesome benefits to gamers such as genuine ownership of in-game assets and the chance to earn financial rewards for their efforts. And now, as the number of Web3 game titles grows and the industry becomes more competitive, developers are only too happy to offer all kinds of incentives to tempt people to play.
A prime example is the pioneering Web3 game streaming platform Azarus, which is holding its Supercharged Streams giveaway, boosting its incentives for every player by making three-times the normal rewards available in each of its games. It's a golden opportunity for crypto game lovers to stack up those AzaCoins ahead of some huge discounts on redemptions through the Aza Store, which will be available from Nov. 16 to Nov. 20
Fans of Axie Infinity, perhaps the world's best known Web3 game, will also have an opportunity to win prizes thanks to a collaboration with Pixels. The two companies have just launched the Pixels x Axie Art Challenge, an event that asks art enthusiasts to merge the artistic styles of both platforms through physical sketches and digital animations. The idea is to create an image that perfectly embodies the idea of "Pixels meet Axie", and there are some tempting prizes on offer for the best submissions, including some extremely rare NFT collectibles.
That isn't the only giveaway from Pixels, which is also celebrating its launch on Ronin by inviting players to participate in a special, 30-day Pixels Carnival Event. Players will be required to complete a series of mini-games, harvest crops and complete various questions, with the best performers set to win one of 200 Genesis Pet NFTs.
Similarly, Axie Infinity also has its own thing going on with the Origins S6 Final Era season now live, where players can compete with their fellow Lunacians for a total prize pool of 26,033 AXS tokens. The new era, announced on X, also introduces the Elite 8: Battle of the Crown Tournament, which will involve the top eight players in the Origins S6 Final Era and see them battle it out for a 2,000 AXS prize to celebrate the end of the season. It's a highly anticipated event, with all tournament matches set to be livestreamed on Axie Twitch, meaning the players will have the opportunity to win just as much prestige as they do prizes. Other prizes on offer this month include double the SLP to anyone who wins a ranked Origins match between Nov. 10 and Nov. 13, and a "limited-edition border" for every Axie who finishes in the Challenger rank with at least five collectible axis.
Last but not least, the hit blockchain game Illuvium is celebrating its upcoming listing on the Epic Games Store on Nov. 28 with the addition of three brand new game genres set within its universe. The new modes include Overworld, which is said to be an open-world exploration game"; and Arena and Zero, a new auto-battler strategy game; and Zero, a mobile and desktop-based city-building game reminiscent of The Sims.
