The New Rule May Force Apple Products to Adopt Type-C USB
A rule was adopted by the European Union that requires all electronic devices to adopt Type-C USB charging ports.
Now Apple has to include a USB-C port on all of its products in Europe according to European legislation.
The transition might take time but it is sure that Apple will adopt Type-C USB ports and the testing has begun.
