Microsoft’s subsidiary GitHub and its business partner OpenAI face a class action lawsuit for violating crucial copyright terms. 

The case is only in its nascent stage but, apparently, it can have a huge impact on the copyright terms and conditions of AI. 

The allegations revolve around the creation of the AI-powered coding assistant GitHub Copilot, which depends on software piracy at a huge scale.
