The Binance Smart Chain is one of the most popular blockchains in cryptocurrency. It is run by Binance, which is itself the biggest crypto exchange in the world. Its fees are almost always lower than the Ethereum (ETH) Network and as such it has proved wildly successful in creating an ecosystem of some of the biggest cryptocurrencies. The self-proclaimed king of the meme coins, Dogecoin (DOGE), is on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and was responsible for making millionaires out of its early investors as well as introducing millions of people to the world of crypto.
Crypto enthusiasts believe that 2022 can be as big of a year as 2021 was, despite some early setbacks this January. Notable coins that operate on the BSC that many experts are excited about include Binance Coin (BNB), PancakeSwap (CAKE), Gala (GALA), and Seesaw Protocol (SSW).
Binance Coin (BNB) is the native token of Binance and the Binance Smart Chain. It has multiple uses in the BSC ecosystem including paying for transaction fees. BNB could be a good investment in 2022 as the general health of the cryptocurrency market is reflected in the price of BNB. Its price is currently $383 and some analysts believe that by the end of the year BNB could reach $1000.
PancakeSwap is one of the leading decentralised exchanges and is built on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). Its token CAKE helps to maintain the liquidity of the platform, and can also be staked on to earn its holders 62% APY at the time of writing. CAKE saw a huge increase of almost 7000% to a high of $44.18 in 2021. It is currently at $7.67, which could provide a good entry point with a large room for upward growth.
Gala (GALA) was one of many cryptocurrencies that broke records last year. GALA shot up from $0.001442 in January to an all-time high of $0.8367 in November of 2021. This is a startling increase of over 57,000%, meaning a $100 investment in GALA would have been worth over $50,000. Its current price is $0.2058, a 14,000% increase from its price a year ago.
With the release of its first game, Town Star, Gala Games aims to make "blockchain games you'll actually want to play." It has more games in its release schedule, including a sci-fi strategy game and a fantasy RPG game.
Seesaw Protocol's presale is well underway and is already creating a buzz amongst the crypto community. The SSW Telegram group has over 20,000 active members and given its presale price of $0.005, it is abundantly clear that there is huge scope for growth.
