India Marks Semiconductor Breakthrough with First Commercial Multi-Chip Module

Kaynes Technology India Ltd.’s subsidiary, Kaynes Semicon Pvt Ltd, recently reached a milestone by sending almost 900 of India’s first commercially packaged multi-chip modules (MCMs) from its outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) facility in Sanand, Gujarat. The high-integration intelligent power module (IPM5) package contains 17 dies including IGBTs, controller ICs and diodes, and the facility is targeting full mass production by January 2026.

Ripple has raised $500 million in a financing round that values the company at $40 billion with the involvement of prominent institutional investors, including Fortress Investment Group, Citadel Securities, and Pantera Capital.
