OnePlus increased the prices of five smartphones in India by Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 4,000, putting several Nord and N Series models into higher price segments. The revised prices affect the OnePlus Nord 6, Nord CE6, Nord CE6 Lite, N6 and N6x.

OnePlus Phones that Got More Expensive

The biggest increase has been reported for the Nord CE6 Lite 8GB + 256GB variant. Its price has moved from Rs. 30,999 to Rs. 34,999, marking a Rs. 4,000 increase.

The 8GB + 128GB version has also crossed the Rs. 30,000 mark. Its price has risen from Rs. 27,999 to Rs. 30,999.

The Nord CE6 now starts at Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model. The 8GB + 256GB variant has moved to Rs. 41,999.

The Nord 6 8GB + 256GB model now costs Rs. 46,999. The 12GB + 256GB version has reached Rs. 52,999.

The N6 has seen a Rs. 2,000 increase across its reported variants. The 4GB + 128GB model now costs Rs. 24,999, while the 6GB + 128GB version is priced at Rs. 26,999.

The N6x has received increases of Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 2,000 across its two reported configurations.

Rising Memory Costs Drive Smartphone Prices

The price changes come as smartphone makers face sharply higher memory costs. TrendForce estimates that contract prices for LPDDR4X mobile memory rose 70% to 75% quarter-on-quarter in the second quarter of 2026. LPDDR5X prices were estimated to have climbed 78% to 83%.

Rising demand from AI servers is also putting pressure on memory supply. Manufacturers are directing more production capacity towards higher-end products, adding cost pressure across the smartphone market.

OnePlus has not directly attributed these latest price increases to memory costs. The timing, however, comes alongside the wider rise in mobile DRAM prices.

What Buyers Need to Know

The price changes could push some OnePlus phones into competition with devices from higher price categories. Buyers may also find discounts at checkout, as OnePlus is offering instant bank discounts on some affected models during August.

For shoppers, the key change is simple: the same phone now costs more than it did earlier. Buyers comparing OnePlus models may need to reassess their options across the new price ranges before making a purchase.
