Samsung vs Dell: Who Offers the Best 5G Laptops in the Market?

There's definitely a market for the best 5G laptops today, explore who offers the best

Nowadays, most of us expect to be connected to the internet wherever we go. Our phones are the easiest way to access just about anything online wherever we are, but they don't quite allow us to be as productive as we are on a laptop. Thankfully, laptops have caught on with the addition of cellular network support. For now, most of the always-connected laptops still sport 4G LTE connections, and it will take some time for more laptops to use the latest in 5G goodness. In this article, we will look at Samsung vs Dell- the best 5G laptops in the market.

There are lots of reasons to want a cellular laptop. It's more secure than connecting to public Wi-Fi, or maybe you just don't want to end up on the Starbucks mailing list. Maybe you just want the convenience of being connected to the internet all the time, because you know, it's 2021, and connecting to the internet shouldn't be something that you have to think about. If you're thinking about getting a 5G Samsung Galaxy PC, maybe because it works better with your Galaxy phone and tablet, we've got you covered.

Samsung makes a lot of great laptops, but the selection isn't quite as wide as larger OEMs like HP, Dell, and Lenovo. Here's what Samsung offers in terms of 5G.

Samsung's brand-new Galaxy Book Pro 360 comes with Intel's new 11th-generation processors, and the 5G model weighs in at just 1.1kg (the Wi-Fi-only model is 1.04kg). It's thin and light, and it's a convertible too. That means you can use it to draw, take handwritten notes, and so on. And since you're connected to the internet all the time, those handwritten notes will sync to OneNote, even when you're on the go.

For some reason, all companies seem to hate adding cellular capabilities to 15.6-inch laptops, so 5G is only available in the 13.3-inch model. It also comes with an FHD Super AMOLED display, so you'll get vibrant colors without the battery drain that comes with UHD. The panels are from Samsung Display, and they even come with UL's Greenguard Gold certification for low chemical emissions.

While 5G came to the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, iPhone 12 Pro, and many other mainstream phones in 2020, in the laptop world, 5G coverage has been mostly restricted to high-end business laptops. A great example is the Dell Latitude 9510 2-in-1, a high-class flagship with 5G service.

Dell's Latitude 9510 2-in-1 is first and foremost a business-class laptop that's meant to appeal to anyone who needs a machine that can last for more than a full day of work on a single charge of the battery. It will be available in both clamshell and 360-degree convertible 2-in-1 formats, and it's the latter that will first get 5G support via a Qualcomm X55 5G modem that will be available soon.

It's a beautiful device, meant for the traveling businessperson who's looking to take their work on the go. We mentioned battery life, which is a critical factor for the mobile worker, and the Latitude 9510 has built-in artificial intelligence that monitors user activity and works to improve battery life. Dell also touts it as the smallest, lightest ultra-premium business PC at just 3.2 pounds.
