In a major development for India’s deep-tech innovation ecosystem, Primebook, a pioneering full-stack tech brand in India, has been officially recognized by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, as an In-House R&D Unit. The recognition is applicable from 28th April 2025 to 31st March 2028 for Primebook’s R&D unit located at Plot No. 23, Building No. 356/357, Sultanpur, New Delhi.

This recognition strengthens Primebook’s commitment to building cost-effective, high-performance computing solutions tailored for the Indian youth. DSIR recognition also allows Primebook to avail key benefits such as customs duty exemption on import of R&D equipment and materials, and marks a strategic leap forward in the brand’s ongoing innovation journey.

Commenting on the recognition, Chitranshu Mahant, Co-Founder & CEO, Primebook, said: “We are honored to receive DSIR’s recognition for our R&D efforts. It reaffirms our mission to innovate from India and create impact at scale through cost-effective computing. The certificate also enhances the company’s ability to collaborate with government bodies, educational institutions, and research organizations in building solutions aligned with national priorities.

As India continues its rapid digital transformation, this recognition empowers Primebook to scale its proprietary innovations, such as PrimeOS, and bring world-class learning and employability tools into the hands of millions.
