Spotify Music Quiz Gets Bigger: Spotify has expanded its Music Quiz from an earlier BTS-focused experience to more than 2,000 artists. The feature is rolling out to Premium users aged 18 and above across 11 countries, including India.
Test Music Knowledge: The quiz asks questions about an artist’s music, career, major moments and history. It also includes album-cover reveals and short audio clips where users have to identify the song.
Big Artists Join the Quiz: The expanded feature includes artists such as BTS, Bad Bunny, Don Toliver, Bruno Mars and Charli XCX. The available artist list can vary by market as Spotify continues its gradual rollout.
Share Scores With Friends: After completing a quiz, users can see their final score and share it with friends. The social feature turns music trivia into a simple challenge for fans who want to compare their knowledge.
India Gets Early Access: India is among the 11 launch markets for Music Quiz, alongside the US, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Nigeria, South Africa and Indonesia. The quizzes are available in English at launch.
How to Find Music Quiz: Update the Spotify app and play a song from a participating artist. Open the Now Playing screen, scroll down and look for the Music Quiz card. Tap it to start answering questions.
Premium Users Only, For Now: Music Quiz is currently rolling out to Spotify Premium users aged 18 and above. It may not appear for every artist or listener immediately, as Spotify is adding more artists, languages and markets over time.
