Ramesh Babu moved into luxury vehicles after identifying an opportunity in Bengaluru’s premium transport market. In 2004, he bought his first luxury car, a Mercedes-Benz E-Class, and began expanding his fleet. The business later added brands such as BMW, Jaguar, Audi and Rolls-Royce. His strategy centred on offering high-end vehicles for rental and chauffeur-driven services. 

His Fleet Grew To More Than 400 Vehicles

Ramesh Tours and Travels has grown into a large luxury transport business with more than 400 vehicles, according to recent reports. The fleet includes premium models from Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Jaguar and Rolls-Royce. The company serves corporate travel, special occasions and other premium requirements. This expansion turned Ramesh Babu from a local barber into a recognised entrepreneur. 

Rolls-Royce Became A Major Symbol Of His Success

In 2011, Ramesh Babu added a Rolls-Royce Ghost to his collection, marking another major step in his luxury vehicle business. The car became one of the most recognisable vehicles associated with his story. His fleet has since included other premium models, including Mercedes-Maybach, BMW and Range Rover vehicles, reflecting the company’s focus on high-end transportation services. 

Ramesh Babu Continues His Barbering Root

Despite building a successful transport business, Ramesh Babu has continued to be associated with his family’s traditional profession. Reports have noted that he still cuts customers’ hair, even after expanding his luxury vehicle business.
