Xbox Game Pass received its second wave of game additions and removals. With the meteoric rise of the gaming industry, subscription services have gained a substantial audience. Whether it’s PS Plus, Xbox Game Pass, or PC Game Pass, active subscriptions offer gamers free access to a range of renowned titles.

The Xbox Game Pass lineup changes every month. Old games leave, making way for new ones.Earlier this month, Microsoft revealed the first wave of games leaving this subscription service, and it’s time for the second wave. Three more titles joined the previously announced ones to bid goodbye to this service.

How July Started For Xbox Game Pass Users?

The Game Pass July cuts began on July 15. Six highly popular Xbox titles leave this service together, including Flock, Mafia: Definitive Edition, Magical Delicacy, Tchia, The Callisto Protocol, and The Case of the Golden Idol.

These titles were some of the best games on Xbox Game Pass. Ranging from cozy cooperative adventure to intense horror and noir-style storytelling, these games offer gamers hours of engaging content. Mafia: Definitive Edition deserves a special mention here. It is the perfect time to dive into this game before its highly anticipated upcoming installment, Mafia: The Old Country, releases on August 8, 2025.

These titles have been removed from the subscription service, so they can no longer be accessed for free. However, gamers can purchase these games at a 20% discount for a limited time from the Xbox Store. Just after the first six games were removed from the service, the second list appeared.

Xbox Game Pass July Lineup: Which Games are Leaving?

On July 31, three more titles, including Gigantic: Rampage Edition, Kunitsu‑Gami: Path of the Goddess, and Turnip Boy Robs a Bank leaving the Game Pass. Coincidentally, the first two games joined the Game Pass together earlier this year.

All three titles are shocking to leave the Xbox service, but Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is probably the most unexpected one among all. This 16-20 hour action-strategy title is best for those who don’t want to invest a lot of time in grinding.

Gamers who haven’t yet played these games can still dive into them for free until July 31. Even after they leave the Game Pass Standard and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, players can purchase them for a 20% discount for a limited time.

Conclusion: Why Do These Departures Matter?

Microsoft refreshes Game Pass bimonthly. This practice is common across all subscription services. They rotate in new titles to replace old ones. It is a strategy to make the subscription tiers equally engaging and exciting every month.

This month, as Xbox Game Pass bids farewell to a few titles, such as RoboCop: Rogue City and Grounded 2, new additions will join the service to balance the Xbox Game Pass July lineup.

Xbox Game Pass users can still have time to finish these games until they leave. Whether you’re chasing achievements, storytelling, or co-op adventures, this is the final window to experience these three titles for free.
