WazirX launched WazirX AI, an AI-powered co-pilot designed to help users research cryptocurrency markets, analyse portfolios and navigate trades through a conversational interface. The tool aims to bring market research, portfolio insights and trading support into one place. You can find the tool on Android, iOS and the web.
WazirX AI follows an “Ask, Understand, Decide” approach. Users can ask questions about live crypto prices, market movements, news and asset performance using natural-language prompts.
The assistant can also compare cryptocurrencies and provide broader market context. The development comes at a time when cryptocurrency exchanges are increasingly using AI to simplify complex trade information. WazirX had earlier announced the integration of AI to enhance the platform and attract more users, especially after the cyberattack in 2024.
The move comes as crypto exchanges increasingly use AI to make complex trading information easier to access. WazirX previously outlined AI as part of its strategy to improve the platform and attract users following its restructuring after the 2024 cyberattack. The AI assistant can access a user's WazirX portfolio context after login. It can provide information on holdings, portfolio value, profit and loss, and open positions.
Users can also use the assistant to understand trading concepts and navigate spot and futures markets. WazirX says users can initiate trades through the AI interface, but the platform keeps the final decision with the user. Trade details can be reviewed before confirmation, and orders are not executed without approval.
WazirX AI also introduced a Paper Trading Sandbox with a simulated USD 100,000 balance. Users can test trading strategies and understand the platform's workflow without putting real funds at risk. The sandbox uses WazirX market data and supports spot and futures trading.
The launch adds to WazirX's broader push into futures and advanced trading tools. The exchange opened futures trading to all users earlier this year and has continued expanding its trading infrastructure.
