Vivo is working on the Vivo T4 Ultra, which will launch a mid-range phone with some major upgrades from its predecessor. This smartphone will bolster Vivo's T series, as the Vivo T4 was recently launched. According to leaks, the device will receive significant upgrades in terms of display, processor, and camera capabilities.

It is rumored that the phone will hit the market in early June. This means Vivo is looking to refresh its mid-range lineup with a new device that could pack a punch.

Display and Performance Improvements

Vivo T4 Ultra will have a 6.67-inch pOLED at 120Hz display, in a time when mid-range smartphones used to be considered a flagship experience. The new panel will offer bright colors with smooth scrolling in an attempt to placate the multimedia junkies and gamers but also an eco-forward promise. T4 Ultra is supposedly going to use a MediaTek Dimensity series 9300 chipset. This is a step above the Fully Dimensity 9200+ in the T4 chipset.

Ongoing upgrades to enhance chips would have substantially improved the processor while also gaining power benefits with the overall performance of the device.

Enhanced Camera Setup

The biggest upgrade on the Vivo T4 Ultra is the camera system. The primary camera features the same 50MP Sony IMX921 sensor that the T4 had, but the ultrawide camera has been replaced by a 50MP periscope telephoto camera.

With this upgrade, we should see a large uptick in the zoom performance, providing some flexibility in the photography options. The periscope lens will allow for better long-range shots, a feature that is often omitted in mid-range smartphones.

Software and Performance Highlights

The Vivo T4 Ultra is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chip, offering uncompromising performance. It runs on FuntouchOS 15 (Android 15), providing a breezy user experience. The quad-curved OLED display measures 6.67 inches and features a 1.5K resolution, along with a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. A 120Hz refresh rate, a slim 7.43mm body, and two color options —black and white —round this out as a stylish and functional combo.

Pricing Leaks and Expected Market Position

Tipster Abhishek Yadav suggests that this might sell for ₹35,000 in India, a slight increase over the Vivo T3 Ultra at ₹31,999. In the super-premium mid-range segment, the T4 Ultra competes with devices that are at the top of their performance class. Although the speculated IP rating is 64 instead of 68, it still offers enough features for those seeking cutting-edge specs in a nicely designed package.

Final Insight

Vivo T4 Ultra looks like it has plenty to offer in the Indian smartphone market with upgrades in display technology, camera innovation, and fast charging. An imminent launch indicates a strong contender for consumer consideration for those wanting a solid mid-range phone with premium features.
