Nearly 20 years after The Devil Wears Prada became a pop culture favourite, the sequel has arrived in theatres with the original cast returning to the franchise.
Meryl Streep reprises her role as Miranda Priestly, alongside Anne Hathaway as Andy Sachs, Emily Blunt as Emily Charlton and Stanley Tucci as Nigel. The film premiered in theatres on May 1, 2026, and has already posted strong box office numbers globally.
The makers have not announced an official OTT release date yet. However, reports suggest the film could begin streaming between August and September 2026 after completing its theatrical run.
The sequel is also expected to release on premium video-on-demand platforms including Apple TV and Prime Video, in June. Viewers may be able to rent or purchase the film digitally ahead of its streaming debut.
The sequel has been produced by 20th Century Studios, making Disney+ and Hulu the likely streaming platforms internationally. In India, the film is expected to stream on JioHotstar, although the platform has not confirmed the release officially.
