Shiprocket Ltd made a strong debut on the Indian stock exchanges on Wednesday (August 19, 2026). The e-commerce logistics and shipping platform's stock listed at Rs. 131 per share on the NSE, a premium of 35.05% over its IPO price of Rs. 97. On the BSE, it opened at Rs. 129.50, translating into a 33.5% premium.
The strong debut came after intense demand for the public issue. Shiprocket's Rs. 1,617.48-crore IPO was subscribed nearly 99.4 times, with institutional investors showing particularly strong interest. The issue comprised a fresh issue worth around Rs. 885.5 crore and an offer for sale of approximately Rs. 732 crore.
The buying interest did not stop at the opening bell. Shiprocket shares climbed to an intraday high of Rs. 144 on the NSE, taking the stock's gain to nearly 48.5% over its IPO issue price. On the BSE, the stock touched Rs. 143.90.
The sharp move indicates strong investor appetite for companies operating in India's expanding e-commerce and logistics ecosystem. Shiprocket provides technology-driven shipping, fulfillment, and other services to online businesses, including small and medium-sized enterprises. The company is backed by prominent investors, including Temasek and Zomato.
The IPO proceeds are expected to support Shiprocket's growth plans, including investments in technology and product development, marketing, strategic acquisitions, and network expansion.
