Samsung Electronics unveiled its newest AI-powered display technologies at the Australian Tech Summit 2026 in Sydney. Samsung gave an early look gave an early glance at what’s coming next for its TV and gaming monitor lineup.
The two-day event explored how artificial intelligence is changing screen experiences across televisions, OLED displays, and gaming products. Samsung also used the summit to highlight its leadership in the global TV market, where it has maintained the number one spot for 20 straight years.
Samsung is positioning its Vision AI Companion, VAC, as the main thing in its 2026 display ecosystem. The tech giant explains that this feature helps people interact with TVs more naturally, with AI-powered assistance.
VAC can answer questions that are tied to what you see on screen, without making you stop watching. It also covers stuff like recipe discovery, travel planning, and those personalised content suggestions that kind of follow your taste over time.
Samsung executives also said the whole setup is meant to deal with the rising ‘multi-screen viewing’ habits, where users keep checking their smartphones while watching TV.
Looking ahead, Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics, said, “ Samsung’s 2026 display lineup combines the features consumers value most in TVs and monitors, including stunning picture quality, thoughtful design, and AI features that make screens more personal and intuitive. Across the lineup, Samsung is delivering a more complete screen experience for how people watch, play, and work every day.”
Additionally, Samsung introduced gaming-focused displays, advanced Odyssey monitors, and glasses-free 3D display technologies. The tech giant further explained that Australian there is a high demand for brighter displays, bigger screens, and more personalised viewing experiences. All, thanks to local lifestyle preferences and the kind of high natural light conditions you just get around there.
In 2026, the lineup covers Micro RGB, OLED, Neo QLED, Mini LED, and UHD televisions. Looking ahead, Samsung aims to expand AI features across even more models, launching them globally.
