Although Xiaomi is yet to make the smartphone official, the listing reveals details about its battery, charging capabilities and durability.
Certification platforms often give away key specifications before a device is unveiled, and the Redmi 17 4G appears to be no exception.
According to the EPREL entry for this gadget, the model number of Redmi 17 4G will be 2606FRN72Y.
The certification also suggests that the smartphone will feature a 7,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging support, offering up to 73 hours and 54 minutes of battery life on a single charge.
Additionally, the battery will maintain 80 percent of its original energy after 1,000 charge-discharge cycles; therefore, the phone will not show any performance variations throughout the years of its usage. Such features could turn out to be the biggest advantage of the Redmi 17 4G.
It appears that the Redmi 17 4G phone is dust- and splash-proof due to the IP65 rating. According to the EU testing requirements, the phone has been assigned a 'B' rating in terms of free fall durability and energy efficiency, and a 'C' rating for ease of repairs.
According to past reports, Redmi 17 4G model may come with a 6.9 inches screen having a 120 Hz refresh rate. Moreover, it will have the MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra chip onboard.
