Realme expanded its budget smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of the Realme C100i, priced at Rs.14,999. The new C-series handset is aimed at buyers looking for a large display, long battery life, and basic everyday performance without moving into a higher price bracket. The phone is available in Midnight Black and Skyline Silver color options. It can be purchased through Flipkart and the Realme India online store.
Realme C100i features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1570 pixels and can reach up to 900 nits under high-brightness mode, according to the launch specifications.
The higher refresh rate is expected to make scrolling through websites, social media feeds and menus feel smoother than on conventional 60Hz displays. The screen is protected by Panda Glass.
Realme C100i is powered by the Unisoc T7250 octa-core processor and paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Internal storage is 64GB, with expandable storage support. The Indian model is a 4G-only smartphone.
The C100i runs Android 16 with Realme UI 6.0, giving the phone the company's latest software interface. Its hardware is primarily suited to everyday activities such as calls, messaging, browsing, social media and video streaming rather than demanding gaming or heavy multitasking.
For photography, the C100i has an 8MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The front camera is rated at 5MP with an f/2.2 aperture. The phone carries an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes.
