Google has begun rolling out Android 17 Beta 4.1 for Pixel devices, introducing final bug fixes and stability improvements as the company prepares for the official public release of Android 17. Officially, this is a ‘minor update to Android 17 Beta 4.’ It marks the last major step before stable availability.
Ahead of the stable launch, Google is releasing Android 17 Beta 4.1 for Pixel devices. CP21.260330.011 features the May 2026 security patch. This release addresses the following issues:
An issue where the status bar incorrectly displayed zero signal bars despite active connectivity.
A UI synchronization issue where the mobile data Quick Settings icon remained active during Airplane mode.
An issue where external displays would go black when selecting high resolutions.
A Bluetooth audio routing issue that caused playback silence after system interruptions, like timers.
An issue causing hearing aids to be automatically forgotten from paired devices after inactivity or charging.
This update is for those who did not update to Android 17 QPR1. Factory and OTA images are available now, with existing Beta 4 users able to sideload the latter. When it comes to eligible devices, the Pixel 6 and above are supported for smartphones. The beta can also be installed on the Pixel Tablet. Following are the major benefits for the users.

Steps to Install Android 17 Beta 4.1
Back up your important data before installing the beta version.
Visit the Android Beta Program website and sign in with your Google account.
Select your eligible Pixel device and enroll it in the beta program.
Go to Settings > System > Software Updates > Check for Updates.
Download and install Android 17 Beta 4.1 when it becomes available.
