Nothing is preparing to expand its flagship true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds lineup, with a new teaser suggesting a possible arrival of Nothing Ear (3) Pro. The UK-based company recently shared an image of Kingdra, a Water/Dragon-type Pokémon, on its official community forum.

The teaser features the brand's signature dot-matrix design and reads ‘Coming Soon.’

Nothing Ear (3) Pro Teaser Hints at Upcoming Launch

The teaser includes a line from Kingdra's Pokémon lore: “It sleeps deep on the ocean floor to build its energy. It is said to cause tornadoes as it wakes.”

The post doesn't explicitly mention earbuds or disclose any specifications. However, the company has previously used Pokémon names as internal codenames for its products, making the latest image a potential clue about its upcoming launch.

The teaser also appears to connect with an earlier listing discovered in September. A Reddit user reportedly found a temporary support page on Nothing's website referencing the Nothing Ear (3) Pro. The listing carried the internal identifier 25253 and the codename Kingdra. Although the page was subsequently removed, screenshots and archived copies reportedly remained available.

The matching codename strengthens the possibility that the teaser relates to the earbuds. Nothing has yet to confirm the product's name or launch timeline.

Nothing Ear (3) Features and Specifications

Nothing introduced the standard Nothing Ear (3) in September 2025, featuring the company's familiar transparent design. Its charging case includes a Super Mic feature, claimed to cancel noise up to 95dB, which can be activated with the Talk button.

Users can also record voice notes that sync to Essential Space, with automatic transcription available on Nothing OS-supported handsets.

The earbuds support real-time adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC), which the company claims can block up to 45dB of noise. They feature upgraded 12mm dynamic drivers with a patterned diaphragm that increases the radiating area by 20%.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4 and LDAC support for high-resolution audio, alongside latency below 120ms for gaming and video. The earbuds support Google Fast Pair on Android and Swift Pair on Windows, and also work with iOS devices.

Users can also customize controls, including Essential Space and ChatGPT functions, through the Nothing X app. Each earbud houses a 55mAh battery, claimed to deliver up to 10 hours of listening time.
