South Korean financial technology company Koscom will showcase its shared tokenized securities platform at Korea Fintech Week 2026. The presentation comes as financial institutions prepare for new blockchain securities regulations taking effect on February 4, 2027.

According to Yonhap News Agency's October 13 report, Koscom will participate in the November 25–27 exhibition at Seoul's AT Center in Yangjae. South Korea's Financial Services Commission (FSC) will organize the event.

The company plans to demonstrate infrastructure that supports securities issuance, account management, and connections between financial systems. It has also signed cooperation agreements with 13 securities firms developing tokenized securities businesses.

Koscom Advances Shared Tokenized Securities Infrastructure

Koscom has completed joint development of its securities issuance infrastructure with LG CNS. The company also conducted testing through the Korea Securities Depository's token securities volume management testbed.

During Korea Fintech Week, Koscom will present its development experience and testing results. It will also explain its cooperation with financial institutions preparing to enter the tokenized securities market.

The shared platform provides infrastructure that participating securities firms can use for tokenized securities operations. Its functions cover issuance processes, account management, and links between relevant financial systems.

Meanwhile, South Korea's upcoming regulatory framework is shaping preparations across the financial sector.

The FSC recently proposed amendments to rules governing tokenized securities issuance and trading. The proposals cover stocks, bonds, funds, and fractional investment products.

Public consultation began on October 2 and will continue through November 11. The new regulatory framework is scheduled to take effect on February 4, 2027.

South Korean Brokerages Expand Blockchain Securities Projects

Several financial institutions have developed tokenization systems as the regulatory transition approaches.

In September, Hanwha Investment & Securities completed a tokenized securities platform supporting Avalanche and Hyperledger Besu. The brokerage started developing the system with blockchain technology company FairSquare Lab in 2025.

Meanwhile, KB Securities partnered with Securitize and the Optimism Foundation to develop tokenized investment funds for institutional clients. Their initial project involves a proposed money market fund on OP Mainnet. The partnership focuses on infrastructure for institutional fund tokenization.

Eugene Investment & Securities has also pursued blockchain-based settlement solutions. In September, the brokerage signed an agreement with BEATOZ to test stablecoin settlement for tokenized securities subscriptions.

The project will examine subscription, payment, and settlement processes through a connected blockchain system. Eugene previously developed its tokenized securities platform in 2024. It subsequently joined a Korea Securities Depository pilot in 2025.

Separately, Meritz Securities partnered with Ripple to explore institutional digital asset custody and tokenization infrastructure. Both companies plan to begin cooperation within existing regulations.

LG CNS also signed an October agreement with Securitize covering tokenization technology and institutional digital asset services.

Koscom Adds AI Stock Predictions and Fintech Support

Beyond blockchain securities, Koscom will introduce artificial intelligence services for financial data analysis during the exhibition. The company plans to demonstrate K-EFS, a Korean stock prediction score service developed and launched with LG AI Research.

The service uses artificial intelligence to provide stock prediction scores for the Korean market. Koscom will also offer consultations on financial cloud support programs for fintech companies. These consultations form another part of its Korea Fintech Week activities.

In addition, the company will introduce the D-Testbed initiative, which supports financial technology testing and development.

These services will appear alongside its tokenized securities platform at the November exhibition. The presentation will cover Koscom's financial technology projects, development work, and cooperation with participating institutions.

Conclusion

Koscom will present its shared tokenized securities infrastructure at Korea Fintech Week 2026, following development work with LG CNS and agreements with 13 securities firms. Meanwhile, South Korean brokerages continue developing blockchain platforms ahead of the February 2027 regulatory transition. Koscom will also showcase AI stock predictions and fintech support services.
