Huawei Watch 6, Watch 6 Pro, GT 7 Series Launched Globally

Huawei announced the Watch 6 and Watch 6 Pro globally at IFA 2026, alongside the Watch GT 7 and GT 7 Pro, with advanced health tracking, multiple sizes, and extended battery life.

Huawei announced its Watch 6 and Watch 6 Pro smartwatches at IFA 2026 in Berlin. The company also showcased the global versions of the Watch GT 7 and Watch GT 7 Pro, which went on sale outside China.

The new Watch 6 models came in different case sizes and materials and supported iOS and Android smartphones. They also featured a new wrist-flick gesture, a rotating crown, and Huawei’s X-Tap sensor technology for health tracking. AI was used to analyze workouts and extract health and recovery details.

The Huawei Watch 6 started at GBP 399 (around Rs. 50,000), and the Watch 6 Pro at GBP 599 (around Rs. 76,000). The release date in Europe was September 23.

Two case sizes were available, 42mm and 46mm, with aluminum alloy and stainless steel options for the Watch 6. There were also two case sizes available, 43mm and 46mm, with ceramic and titanium options for the Watch 6 Pro. The 42mm Watch 6 weighed 38g without straps, and the 46mm version weighed 60g.

Both watches had 5ATM water and dust resistance. The Watch 6 42mm featured a 1.38-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display with 466 x 466 pixels, 338 PPI, and 3,500-nit brightness. 

The 46mm model featured a 1.5-inch display with the same resolution and 310 PPI. The Watch 6 Pro used the same displays and also came in Ceramic and Space Editions.

Both models included an accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, optical heart rate, barometer, ambient light, body temperature, ECG, depth, and X-Tap sensors. 

Connectivity options included NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and WLAN. Huawei claimed up to seven days of battery life for the 42mm and 43mm variants and 11 days for the 46mm variants with battery saver mode.

The Watch GT 7 started at GBP 279 (approximately Rs. 35,000), while the Watch GT 7 Pro started at GBP 379 (approximately Rs. 48,000). They went on sale in Europe from October 13.

The GT 7 came in 41mm and 46mm stainless steel variants, while the GT 7 Pro came in a 46mm titanium case. The GT 7 supported up to seven days of battery life in its 41mm version and 12 days in the 46mm version with battery saver mode. Both models featured 5 ATM and IP69 ratings, NFC, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, and WLAN.
