GTA 6 is set to release on November 19, 2026, and like most other times, gamers from different regions will get access at different times. Though Rockstar Games stated nothing about the launch, a PlayStation listing revealed the developer’s plan for a staggered midnight rollout. If this strategy continues, New Zealand players will be the first people to visit Vice City before anyone else.
The game should unlock at midnight local time on November 19. Indian players are expected to get access at 12 am IST on November 19. This puts New Zealand around seven and a half hours ahead of India. The current PlayStation Store listing shows that New Zealand’s launch time will be around 11 am UTC on November 18. India's launch comes at 6:30 pm UTC on November 18. The rollout will then move across other parts of Asia, Europe, and North America. Rockstar Games did not confirm every regional launch time.

The different launch times are not a random delay for some players. The game is being rolled out around the clock so each region can reach its launch day at midnight. This means New Zealand gets GTA 6 earlier simply because its time zone is ahead of India. As the clock moves west, other regions will get access when their own November 19 begins.
For Indian gamers, Xbox players have the advantage of changing the regional setting to access games earlier. This can be applicable for GTA 6 as well. However, PS5 players don’t have this option. Sony doesn’t allow gamers to change console settings to another region’s time. However, Rockstar is yet to confirm the official launch time of the game, so things can drastically change when the game finally arrives.
Notably, the game is currently listed at Rs. 5,999 for the Standard Edition on the Indian PlayStation Store. Those who want the Ultimate Edition have to spend around Rs. 7,499 for GTA 6.
