

Sony’s September 2026 State of Play featured updates on several PlayStation games and gaming accessories. The showcase included GTA 6-themed DualSense controllers, a new look at Marvel’s Wolverine, the release date for Final Fantasy VII Revelation, and an expansion for Ghost of Yotei.
Sony announced two limited-edition DualSense wireless controllers inspired by Grand Theft Auto VI, including black and white models. Both are scheduled to launch on November 19 for USD 84.99, JPY 12,480, or EUR 84.99. Pre-orders open on September 10 at 10 am local time.
Square Enix showed around 10 minutes of new gameplay from Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the final installment in the remake trilogy. The game launches on April 8, 2027.
Ghost of Yotei will receive Most Wanted, a single-player combat-survival roguelike mode, alongside the Complete Edition. It launches October 1, 2026, alongside the Complete Edition for PlayStation 5. The footage also revealed Jin Sakai as a playable character. Echoes of Sekigahara, the game's story expansion, is also scheduled for October 1.
Marvel's Wolverine received another gameplay trailer, featuring Wolverine fighting Trask's Sentinels and co-op gameplay with Sabretooth. The game launches exclusively on PS5 this month.
Until Dawn 2 is scheduled to release on January 26, 2027, for PlayStation 5. Metro 2039, meanwhile, received PS5 Pro gameplay and is set to launch on February 4, 2027.
Crimson Desert will receive Chartering the Unknown DLC on October 15, 2026, while Maneater 2 is scheduled for 2027. Gran Turismo 7 will get its two-part Spec IV update in October and December 2026. PlayStation Plus will also add Mega Man X: Command Mission, Dino Crisis 2 and the original Ratchet & Clank later in 2026.
