Bitcoin Witnessed $606 Million in Inflows

According to SoSoValue, the Bitcoin spot ETF saw a total net inflow of $606.29 million yesterday.

The Bitcoin Spot ETF with the highest net inflow yesterday was BlackRock's IBIT, with a daily net inflow of $502.99 million, and the total historical net inflow of IBIT currently stands at $62.19 billion.

The second-highest was Fidelity's FBTC, with a daily net inflow of $64.74 million, and the total historical net inflow of FBTC currently stands at $10.15 billion.

The Bitcoin Spot ETF with the highest net outflow yesterday was VanEck's HODL, with a daily net outflow of $3.59 million, and the total historical net inflow of HODL currently stands at $1.06 billion.

Pepe Surges 25%

Pepe maintained its bullish momentum Friday after gaining 22% over the previous two trading days.

The frog-themed meme coin is up approximately 25% this week as whale accumulation, declining exchange supply, and rising speculative activity strengthen its near-term outlook.

PEPE has also reclaimed several important technical levels, opening a potential path toward its 200-day exponential moving average at $0.00000363.

Large investors appear to be returning to Pepe as its price recovers from recent lows. Santiment recorded seven PEPE transactions worth more than $1 million each on Thursday, the highest daily total since March 16.

XRP Whales Bought 380 Million Token

During the week of Aug. 18, 2026, the XRP Ledger recorded a 280% surge in transactions exceeding $1 million. 

More than 38 large-value transfers moved across the network in a single 24 hour window. Addresses in the 1 million to 10 million XRP tier added approximately 380 million tokens over the same week, pushing total whale holdings from roughly 16.05 billion to 16.36 billion.

The price did almost nothing. XRP hovered near $1 through most of the accumulation period, rising to $1.23 during the broader market rally on Aug. 20 before settling.

MANTRA Halts Chain

MANTRA Chain slammed the brakes on its mainnet after detecting an exploit linked to an upstream software dependency.

The project’s official status page confirmed that validators and infrastructure were taken offline as an emergency precaution. 

Migrate bridge operations and MANTRA-managed IBC relays are frozen, while centralized exchange partners have locked down deposits and withdrawals for the native token.

The sudden shutdown triggered immediate market panic, sending the token down roughly 10% for the past 24 hours on high volume to a record low near $0.0041 before a slight recovery. 

Ethereum ETFs Added $221 Million

According to SoSoValue, on August 20, the total net inflow of Ethereum spot ETFs was $221 million.

The Ethereum spot ETF with the highest single-day net inflow yesterday was BlackRock's ETF ETHA, which recorded a single-day net inflow of $173 million. The cumulative historical net inflow for ETHA has now reached $12.019 billion. 

Second was BlackRock's Staked $ETH ETF ETHB, with a single-day net inflow of $35.9045 million, and its cumulative historical net inflow has reached $606 million.

The total net asset value of Ethereum spot ETFs stood at $13.585 billion, with the ETF net asset ratio reaching 4.86%, and the cumulative historical net inflow has now reached $11.965 billion.
