boAt has expanded its audio portfolio in India with the launch of the Airdopes ProClip, a new pair of open-ear wireless earbuds aimed at users who want to stay aware of their surroundings while listening to music, taking calls, or consuming content. The earbuds have been introduced at an introductory price of Rs. 1,599.
While regular earbuds work by placing buds in the ear canal, the Airdopes ProClip uses an open-ear design that sits outside the ear. In this way, the user can hear external sounds, such as traffic, people’s voices, and other announcements, even while listening to audio.
A key highlight of the new earbuds is boAt's Sonic Seal technology, which is designed to minimize audio leakage. Sound leakage has long been one of the biggest concerns associated with open-ear audio products, particularly in offices, public transport, and shared spaces. The company says the technology helps deliver a more private listening experience without compromising environmental awareness.
Airdopes ProClip features a lightweight Cloud Fit design and a loop-like design that keep the earbuds firmly in the ears during workouts, daily commutes, and other activities. The earbuds can also feature Ambient Sound Awareness technology.
Additional specifications include 12mm dynamic drivers, Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, multipoint pairing support, AI-powered environmental noise cancellation for calls, and an IPX4 rating for resistance against sweat and splashes. boAt claims the earbuds can deliver up to 52 hours of total playback with the charging case.

These earbuds are being produced in Noida by Califonix, a collaboration between boAt Lifestyle and Dixon Technologies, in line with the company’s Make in India policy.
