Asus has unveiled the VM441 AiO in India. This is reportedly the first desktop in the country to run on the Snapdragon X processor. The new lineup comes as a major shift for Asus from traditional x86 chips to ARM-based computing.

The latest upgrade also aligns with the broader push toward AI-first personal computers. The VM441 falls under the new Copilot+ PC category, which aims at on-device AI processing.

Asus brings Snapdragon to desktops

The starting price of the VM441 AiO entry-level version is Rs 1,01,990. The other version, which comes with more storage space, is priced at Rs 1,11,990. The new lineup will soon be available via the brand’s offline retail outlets, online portals, and partner networks in India.

The most notable component of this desktop computer is the Snapdragon X chipset, which offers up to 45 TOPS of AI performance. With this chipset, users can leverage faster processing of AI-based functions without being too dependent on the internet. Other notable features include:

  • Up to 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD

  • Windows 11 OS powers this PC

  • Built-in AI features such as captioning, image creation, and assistive tools.

Display, design, and user experience

It also includes a 24-inch Full HD touchscreen display with thin bezels. Users also get a 100% sRGB color gamut, which makes it perfect for both work and leisure. It comes with a 5MP IR webcam along with Windows Hello support. Asus has also included Dolby Atmos speakers for an enhanced sound experience. The package includes a wireless keyboard and mouse.

Desktop computers based on Snapdragon chipsets mark a new era in the PC market. They improve power efficiency and silent performance. Additionally, they offer constant connectivity and advanced AI functions.

These highly advanced models improve multitasking and workflows for heavy users. VM441 AiO is an important part of Asus’s effort to promote AI-driven desktop setups. Although the price tag may hinder mass adoption, it lays a foundation for future ARM-based desktop computers.
