Acer launched its new Swift Neo laptop in India, adding another thin-and-light option for professionals, students and content creators looking for a portable machine with newer Intel processors. Unveiled on August 28, the Swift Neo features Intel’s Core Ultra 5 and Core Ultra 7 H-series processors. The laptop starts at Rs. 67,999 and is available through Flipkart, Acer’s online store, and other retail outlets.
The laptop is designed for users who regularly switch between multiple applications, work with demanding software, or need a machine for everyday productivity. Acer offers Core Ultra 5 and Ultra 7 H-series processor configurations, paired with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage. The higher memory and storage options should make the laptop suitable for heavier multitasking, large files, and faster application loading.
Swift Neo features a 14-inch WUXGA IPS display with a 1920×1200 resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, and brightness of up to 300 nits. Acer is also offering an OLED display option on selected configurations.
Portability is one of the laptop’s main selling points. It weighs around 1.25kg and measures 17.2mm in thickness. The device has metal covers on the top and bottom and includes a 180-degree hinge, allowing the screen to be positioned flat when required.
Other design features include a backlit keyboard, precision touchpad, and integrated fingerprint reader.
