iPhone 15 Series Coming Soon: Launch and Sale Details

iPhone 15 Series is expected to feature USB-C instead of Lightning, an upgraded camera, and more

In September 2022, Apple released the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro models, but rumors exist about the iPhone 15 Series being available for purchase. According to Bloomberg, the Apple iPhone 15 launch event may be scheduled for 12 or 13 September and the sale date of the Apple iPhone 15 is likely to be 22 September. Besides iPhone 15 series, the company may also launch Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 models. Users, however, must note that there are no confirmed details from the company regarding the same.

As we talk about the models, we have found that, per the leaks and rumors, the iPhone 15 series will be available in iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Four out of two have 6.1-inch screens, and the other have 6.7-inch displays. The most affordable in the bunch will be the regular iPhone 15. It is expected to come with a 6.1-inch display and two rear cameras. Then at a slightly higher price comes the 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Plus, which will have a bigger battery, but again only two cameras.

The smaller 6.1-inch iPhone 15 Pro will keep the familiar triple rear camera setup. Finally, we will have the larger iPhone 15 Pro Max, the first iPhone ever to have a 5X-6X periscope zoom camera instead of the 3X telephoto one.

Apple plans to use Qualcomm modem chips for the new devices as its modem chips that are in development are still being prepared; plus, we are expecting new UWB chips for integration with the Vision Pro headset. The standard iPhone 15 models will get an upgrade to the A16 chip that was in the iPhone 14 Pro models, while the iPhone 15 Pro models will use faster and more efficient 3-nanometer A17 chips. Pro models are also expected to see an upgrade to titanium frames, slimmer bezels, and some minor design changes with more curved device edges, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max is also expected to get periscope lens technology for enhanced zoom capabilities.
