As a Senior Applied Scientist at Oracle Analytics, you will:
Collaborate with a larger science team to develop innovative science solutions in response to business requirements.
Research and develop innovative approaches that leverage recent advances in generative AI, mathematical optimization, and machine learning for structured data.
Write high-quality code to power experiments and build models. Contribute to writing production model code.
Collaborate with data engineers to provide guidelines for data collection and annotation.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions to various applications and products.
Identify new opportunities for scientific exploration and evaluate emerging technologies.
PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of work experience in AI/Generative AI/Machine Learning in an industry setting.
Publication record in first-tier journals or conferences.
Hands-on experience in generative AI and model/application evaluation.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark.
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and architectures.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication abilities.
