Primary Responsibilities

Develop and operate SaaS-based data services on IBM Cloud.
Build microservices using Go, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Manage CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins and GitHub.
Implement monitoring, automation, and runbooks.
Troubleshoot production issues and handle service escalations.
Use Terraform or Ansible to manage cloud infrastructure.
Participate in on-call rotation for system alerts and incidents.

Required skills

Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant experience
8+ years in programming with Go
8+ years experience in Kubernetes and CICD environment
8+ years experience with developing and operating highly available, distributed applications in production environments on Kubernetes
8+ years experience in managing service dependencies, such as service credentials or other cloud services, via Terraform or Ansible
Fluent in English

Preferred skill

Go Expert
Advanced Experience with Kubernetes
Experience with development on PostgreSQL, Kafka, Elastic, MySQL, Redis, or MongoDB
3-5 years of experience with managing Linux machines using Configuration management (eg, Chef, Puppet, Ansible). Debian experience is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of at least one Cloud Provider IaaS ecosystem (VPC, Storage, IAM)
