Capgemini and AWS Partner for Generative AI Solutions

AWS and Capgemini form innovative partnership for Gen AI

Intending to accelerate the adoption of generative artificial intelligence solutions and technology across organizations, Capgemini and Amazon Web Services have inked a multi-year collaboration agreement. While addressing issues like cost, size, and trust, Capgemini and AWS will work together to support businesses in realizing the financial benefits of generative AI adoption.

Through the partnership, joint clients will be able to use Capgemini's current network of AWS Centers of Excellence to expand their investments from individual pilots and proof of ideas to production. Additionally, using Amazon Bedrock to access basic models like Amazon Titan, will expedite the deployment of functional use cases tailored to a particular sector.

Together, Capgemini and AWS will develop accelerators, assets, and industry-specific solutions that are backed by a platform intended to assist businesses in lowering their total cost of ownership. The platform helps reduce the cost of producing generative AI by optimizing the huge language models that are part of Amazon Bedrock. According to Capgemini, as part of the partnership, it will grow its current AWS network.

The industrial solutions included in the collaboration expansion include:

Aerospace: Amazon Bedrock's skills to enhance image recognition and analysis of aircraft parts, as well as the curation of published inventories, are used in the lifecycle optimization of an aerospace platform.

Automobile: AI-powered features to facilitate the transition of the automobile industry, such as driverless driving, trustworthy cars, and enabling customizable user experiences.

Financial Services: In addition to enhancing policy servicing and claim handling in insurance, use cases spanning banking and capital markets include customer experience, administration processing, audit, and risk.

Amazon Bedrock and AWS CodeWhisperer will be integrated into Capgemini's digital cloud platform, which offers business accelerators and industry solutions. According to Capgemini, this will increase productivity and quality throughout the software life cycle, with an emphasis on code conversion, development acceleration, technical debt reduction, and strengthening the software's security posture.

Conclusion:

Capgemini has entered into a multi-year collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to expedite the adoption of generative artificial intelligence solutions in enterprises. The partnership aims to assist organizations in realizing the business benefits of generative AI, addressing challenges like cost, scale, and trust.
