Fortnite is getting another major movie crossover. This time, Epic Games is working with Christopher Nolan's latest film, 'The Odyssey'. The event will begin on July 16 and will stay live for a limited period. During this period, players can acquire two of 'The Odyssey'-themed skins, including Matt Damon and Agamemnon.
Epic Games has not shared the full list of content yet, but more details are expected as the event progresses. Like past Fortnite crossovers, some rewards may be earned through challenges, while others could arrive in the Item Shop. Even players have been speculating about an Odyssey-themed Fortnite cup to earn more rewards.
'The Odyssey' could be only the start. If the event becomes popular, Epic Games may look at more Nolan movies. Not all his films fit the theme of Fortnite, but still, there are a few that might make Epic Games’ battle royale interesting.
For example, Batman outfits based on The Dark Knight trilogy will suit the Fortnite theme perfectly. Even some content based on Inception, including dream-themed items and emotes, will fit the storyline. Interstellar could bring space-themed skins, gliders, and back blings. Tenet may inspire unique cosmetics based on its time-bending story.
There are also ideas for movies like The Prestige, Dunkirk, and Oppenheimer. Epic has not confirmed any of these plans, but Fortnite has expanded successful crossovers before.

Fortnite has collaborated with many famous movie franchises over the years. John Wick became an instant hit with fans. Star Wars brought lightsabers, Force powers, and live events that changed the game. Indiana Jones, Alien, Dune, and Terminator also gave players memorable skins and fun content.
'The Odyssey' now has the chance to join that list. A lot will depend on what Epic adds beyond the basic cosmetics. If the event includes exciting quests, themed locations, and fun gameplay, it could become one of Fortnite's best movie crossovers.
